Service Area 02 / AI Training & Enablement

Build the knowledge, habits, and setup your team needs to get real value from AI.

From first understanding to a fully connected team, SkyeStaq's training and enablement services meet you where you are and build the confidence to use AI effectively.

Why AI Enablement Matters

AI Tools Are Everywhere. The Hard Part Is Getting Value from Them.

Getting your team to use AI effectively isn't about access to the right tools. Most teams already have that. The challenge is building the knowledge, habits, and confidence that turn occasional use into real business value. Without structured enablement, AI use tends to stay sporadic and individual, or the team gives up after a few disappointing results. Neither gets you to the business impact the technology is capable of delivering.

SkyeStaq's AI Training & Enablement services cover the full range of work it takes to get there, from workshops that build understanding across your team, to guided onboarding onto a business-tier AI platform, to structured sessions that turn AI interest into a clear-eyed picture of which use cases are actually worth building.

Staircase diagram titled 'The Enablement Gap: Three steps from access to value.' A short Access step on the left represents what most teams have (tools, subscriptions, early experiments), followed by three rising steps labeled Knowledge (know what's worth doing), Habits (make it daily practice), and Setup (wire AI into the work), leading to a tall Consistent Value step on the right (adoption, workflows, business impact).

Outcomes

What enablement makes possible.

The difference between a team that uses AI and a team that gets business value from AI is almost always an enablement gap.

AI Learning Workshops

Lay the foundation for AI adoption with focused, expert-led sessions that build real knowledge across your team.

SkyeStaq offers four core workshops designed to build AI knowledge and capability across your team. Each workshop is interactive by design and kept current as the tools change, because in AI, they always do. Where possible, we tailor examples and discussion to your industry so what your team learns connects directly to the work they do, not to some generic business scenario.

Sessions are available virtually or in person, and can stand alone or feed into a Launchpad or Use Case Incubator engagement.

AI Launchpad

Guided onboarding that gets your team oriented, confident, and working on an AI platform set up for your business.

The AI Launchpad is SkyeStaq's guided onboarding experience for teams moving onto a business-tier AI platform like Claude. The purpose is the same at every level: get your team oriented, confident, and working on a platform that is set up for business use, not personal experimentation.

The Launchpad comes in three progressive tiers. Each tier builds on the previous one, so you choose the level that matches where your team is and what you need to walk away with.

Starter

3–4 hours

What it is

A structured orientation to the business-tier AI platform: what it is, how it differs from consumer tools, and how to use it effectively as part of daily work. Hands-on exercises and practical examples.

What you walk away with

Your team understands what a business-tier AI platform is and uses it with confidence in their daily work.

Best for

Teams new to a business-tier AI platform that need a structured starting point.

Core Includes Starter

4–6 hours

What it is

Everything in Starter, plus connection to your primary business documents and data (Microsoft 365/SharePoint or Google Workspace). Your team works with real business content, not generic examples.

What you walk away with

Your team is working inside a connected environment using your actual business content.

Best for

Teams ready to move beyond orientation and want AI connected to the information they use every day.

Advanced Includes Core

6–8 hours

What it is

Everything in Core, plus connections to up to two additional systems beyond primary documents and data, and two use cases built specifically for your business during the session. Each use case includes a human review step.

What you walk away with

Your team has seen AI working inside your specific business context, with two live use cases they can start using immediately.

Best for

Teams ready to have AI embedded in how they work, connected to the systems they use daily, and built around workflows they can put into practice immediately.

All Launchpad tiers are delivered on-site or virtually, for teams of 5–15 participants.

Use Case Incubator

A structured solutioning session that takes a team from general AI interest to a clear-eyed picture of which use cases are actually worth building.

The Use Case Incubator is a structured solutioning session, not a brainstorm. It's led by senior SkyeStaq practitioners who bring both business operations and digital transformation backgrounds, because the questions a use case has to survive are as much about how a business runs as they are about what technology can do.

SkyeStaq draws out your team's knowledge of workflows, frustrations, and opportunities, then runs every candidate use case through a rigorous solutioning process. Ideas that don't hold up are set aside with a clear rationale. Ideas that do are pressure-tested further and developed into a high-level requirements and architecture sketch, ready to move directly into a SkyeStaq Build engagement or be taken to another partner if you choose.

What we evaluate

Every candidate use case is assessed against three sets of criteria. The business criteria tell us whether the use case is worth doing. The technical and AI-specific criteria tell us what it would take to do it well.

Business criteria

  • Process maturity and consistency
  • Value and measurable ROI
  • Team readiness and adoption risk
  • Change impact on operations
  • Regulatory and data sensitivity
  • Strategic alignment with business goals

Technical criteria

  • Number of users and access patterns
  • Complexity of underlying data
  • Solution complexity and integration depth
  • Frequency and volume of use
  • Platform licensing and account requirements
  • External tools and system dependencies
  • Upfront build versus ongoing operational investment

AI-specific criteria

  • Model selection and capability fit
  • Prompt engineering and context design
  • Hallucination risk and accuracy requirements
  • Human-in-the-loop review points
  • Data exposure and AI governance
  • Output evaluation and quality controls

What you walk away with

Examples of use cases surfaced in an Incubator session

These examples illustrate the range of what AI can do for a business when the right problems are identified. The actual recommendations always come out of a scoping session, not a label.

Best for teams that have a business-tier AI account in place and are actively experimenting, but want senior-level analysis to determine which AI investments are worth making.

A core principle

Access is not enablement.

Most teams already have access to AI tools. What they don't have is the knowledge, habits, and setup that turn occasional use into consistent business value. Enablement is the difference.
